I am a NF fan and have been 100% happy with the 360 NF in my .400 Whelen although I have not shot anything bigger than whitetails with it (definitely gets their attention).

Knowing what I have been able to get out of the 300 grain Hornady, I am curious what other’s experiences have been with the 300 grainer in the same diameter.

Anyone taken anything truly large with this bullet (buffalo? brown bear? Etc.)

How about smaller game? Did it expand well on the little guys?

Any details you can add on MV, estimated impact velocity, penetration, animal reaction, weight retention, etc. are all appreciated!

Hi
Sound great that you like our products. Our 411. 300gr SS data is as follow.
FPV (functional impact velocity). 1600-2800FPs
PIV (prefered impact velocity) 1700-2700FPs.
We have a solid copper shank so normally i say that you can load them as high as you can get in your rifle with a safe load.
If you have any future questions you are more then welcome to send an email to us.
Wish you a nice day.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
