.577 Tyrannosaur

I'm currently working on a 45/70 case necked up to .72 caliber to seat a 12 guage shotgun slug in the neck.

Only problem is that it can't be chambered from the breech so, I just drop the loaded cartridge down the barrel instead.

Ummmm......
Probably you shouldn't be anywhere near firearms.

Searching for anyone who can reload 577 T-Rex. I have new brass.
What do I need to complete a collection of safari rifles? So far I have 577 T-Rex, 460 Weatherby, 458 Lott, 416 Rigby, 416 Hoffman, 375 H&H and 338 Win. Any suggestions? Yes, I would love a 700 NE, but impossible to find.

I have thought of making a post on Safari rifle calibers. Since you asked, here is what I have so far…I’m sure other can add to the list.

I'd load it with pistol powder to make sure sure you get enough velocity.

Cheers

Wow, nice list but in .416 caliber you missed the .416 Rigby, .416 Ruger and most importantly, the .416 Taylor? In .458 caliber, the .458WM, .458 Lott are missing? FYI

You are correct. The OP and I have a .416 Rigby and a .458 Lott, so I didn’t add those or their equivalents to the list. The .416 Remington only made it because I would like an m70 version.

I started the list to figure out in relation to what I have, what would be more powerful or fill any gaps.

I missed and will add:

.577 Tyrannosaur
.470 Capstick
.300 H&H
.30-06
.416 Taylor
.416 Rigby
.458 Lott
.458 WM

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
