Are both 9.3x74?
Neither are worth anywhere near the $20k-$30k price.
Sodia is a nice maker and an Over under small bore double rifle on that action as photographed, I’m thinking $8000-$12,500.
The Beretta is a hidden pin sidekick, very nice. If also 9.3x74r I’m thinking $12,500-$16,500.
Things that lower a gun’s value: over/under, single triggers if present, 9.3x74 instead of .375 or larger, and the fact they aren’t from tier-1 makers AT THAT TIME. Beretta doubles today are more valuable today, in the 1960s they were not best guns and the collector market for them is soft. You can not compare a modern version to that one.
For example: a $90,000 modern beretta double rifle in .458 Winchester with single trigger in over/under configuration languished at the beretta gallery for years. It was sold to a dealer for between $28k-$32k unfired. I’ve seen it offered for years online from different dealers for $45k down to $33k.
A.) it’s a beretta and they aren’t famous for their double rifles, as nice as that best gun in 458 is.
B.) it’s over under
C.) it’s a rimless cartridge
D.) it has a single trigger
Just giving examples of what much better guns by the same maker are worth and why. A 1990s made best beretta is twice or three times as desirable as a 1960s beretta.
