I'm looking to book a trip to New Zealand that would include 8 people, three couples and two children current ages 5 and 8. The trip would be for me, my wife and kids, her parents and two of their friends. The three guys would all like to hunt red stag and we'd like to have some activities planned for the wives and children. One of the lady's is an apiarist and would love to visit a apiary while there.

I'd like to hear from anyone who's been to NZ, any advice you may have, any recommendations regarding outfitters and accommodations for a group such as ours would be greatly appreciated.

We would likely be making the trip in 2020 or 2021.

Are you after free range/low fence or high fence? I've done the former a few times.

Most likely high fence, but I’d like to hear about your experiences. Did you do a hunt report on here about them?

Saw a good looking knife you posted a pic of with the watermelon. Can I ask the make? Looks like you hunted with Guav Johnson? We overlapped in the Save once. Would like to hunt with him one day..
