Deluxe Shooting Bag

About This Product

Deluxe Shooting Bag is perfect for a day at the range whether you are practicing for a trip to Africa or shooting a round of sporting clays. This extra-large bag measures 15”W x 12”H x 9” overall and also has a 13”W x 7”H x 2” outside pocket for gloves, glasses and other gear. The four-flap top keeps dirt and dust out and is plenty big enough for a case of shotgun shells, hearing protection, etc. Rolled carrying handles, heavy-duty hardware and a padded, adjustable shoulder strap make this easy to carry. Available in tan.

They are excellent quality, made by Triple K leather MFG . ASC might charge 3x the wholesale rate for the bag but where else in the world will you find all the stuff they carry under one roof, in stock, ready to ship? They have an impressive amount of Africa related hunting gear on hand. You're paying for service and inventory availability of unique items and for that there is a surcharge.

Really! Three times the price for inventory and service! So by that logic I should pay three times the price for my next BMW at Barron BMW .....not in a pigs eye. If you want to do that go right ahead sir.

This is Jim, the owner and I want to clarify our pricing approach. We do not charge 3x wholesale on anything we sell. In addition, they are not made by Triple K as they wanted nothing to do with exotics, as I asked. All leather is not the same and it takes some experience to master exotics.

These are made in the USA as we had too much variation in quality when we imported less expensive ones. As such we pay US prices for hide which for the select panels (which have gone through the roof since the ban) cost us $26/SF and there is 10 SF per bag. Add in suede lining for inside of case, high density foam and a heavy duty YKK zipper and you are over $325 before labor which then pushes it well over $500 before we subsidize shipping.

Apologies for the confusion but am out at SCI and the reply was given before I had a chance to respond.

As a general comment I never reply to "it is too expensive" comments as most people do not understand the individual cost drivers cost of an item.

Could I import cheaper bags....absolutely but they weigh half as much and use zippers prone to failure. They are out there and the old adage you get what you pay for applies.

Jim,

I appreciate the fact that you sell premium quality stuff in this era of "made in China" proliferation.

I will say that the bags I know of have a large lot wholesale of $280 and individual wholesale of around ~$320. It just so happens that they use the same photographs as your website uses.

It's a great product, I'm sure you'll sell many of them.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.
