An amazing and historical collection of Imperial German hunting trophies

I came across this web page recently.
It shows an awesome collection of old hunting trophies mainly from Europe but some African species included too.
They include trophies taken by Kaiser Wilhelm II and Emperor Franz Joseph.

Wonder what my trophies would look like with a big "W" on the forehead.

Neat collection.

Interesting that the African animals all look to be from German Southwest Africa. Nothing from German East Africa, Cameroon or Togo. Unless the one animal is an immature topi. Possibly animals from the other colonies are just not in the photos.
