I purchased a FAIR Tartaruga for my father early last year. The fit and finish is fair (pun intended) as compared to my CG shotgun. The wood is straight grain, nothing special but looks good. Metal work and action are satisfactory as well.

Overall, the FAIR shotgun functions perfectly and the balance is great! Pretty good for the $$$. I say go for it!

I have experience with the brand. Overall, the guns work well, and they represent a decent value for price. I consider them working guns which I appreciate for heavy timber hunting. The specific model(s) that you have highlighted are practical in the Nth degree. The benefit of a short barrel that doesn't get hung up on timber and is quick to mount will be realized when it's out there doing its job. I might get one myself!

A while back I picked this shotgun from Cabelas used gun dept it was built by F.A.I.R after doing some resarch I found that they have a plant in Italy.

I was interested in their products as well…but unfortunately, you won’t be able order much outside of their standard shotguns. All the distributors in the states that I worked with were unresponsive or generally uninterested in placing an order for me.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
