Anyone use the Leica ER-5 1-5x24 scope?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this relatively new scope? I like the features on the scope from what I've seen. I'm looking to put a 1-4, 5, or 6x scope on my Cz 550 fs in 9.3x62. I really like the circle dot type reticles for fast target acquisition. I've noticed my eyes have a harder time picking up duplex reticles on the fly.

The scope in question is fictional and does not exist in reality. You'll not find any real, honest to goodness reviews of this product. Websites claiming to retail it are lying. Reviews of the product are based on prototypes from many years ago that are not made by the proposed sub-manufacturer they are considering at present for future production.

I have no idea about your possible scope, but I am pretty confident that @rookhawk and @Red Leg can answer most any question about current Leica scopes, binos, rangefinders and cameras. They both own and use this brand. And I am just jealous!!!

I have held and look thru a Leica ER-5 1-5x24 at DSC 2 years ago. But as @rookhawk says it does not exist for sale. I don't know when it will be in production either. And Leica won't say. I asked Leica when their rifle scope cover would be available for purchase and the answer was after shot show. I guess I should have asked how longer after shot show. I know that @rookhawk has had one on order forever, but no delivery. I don't know who makes that scope for Leica either, but best guess is the Leupold does not based on the last time they built a scope for them.

@wesheltonj what you saw at SHOT or DSC is not the same product. Whoever made the demos is out/fired. I heard they were shopping Leupold and Meopta for US manufacture. Again, just fantasy product at this point that won't resemble the demo proof of concept items they made 4 years ago for testing.

Well, the Leica Magnus 1-6.3 x24 is available today. I believe the Magnus line is Made in Germany, so it will be more $ then the ER line.

By the way, their are a few Leica ER scopes NIB still available in 42mm. Those are great scopes and Made in Germany too. I own four of those.
