Like everything else I have purchased from the amazing folks at Gunwerks, this Spotting Scope is really awesome. Unlike virtually all their competitors, they have included an additional fixed 22 power eyepiece with a reticle equipped to quickly attach to the scope body and "range" objects while looking through the scope using MOA or Mills. But the main benefit of this eyepiece is to have a buddy super-impose the reticle over the target when you are shooting at long range. He (or she) then can see your impacts and give you quick and accurate correction calls to "walk" you onto your target if necessary.
The main eyepiece is an adjustable 27-55 power "quick attach" version that will enable you to experience crystal clear long distance views courtesy of the 80mm objective lens! This scope is compatible with attachments you may want to add for digi-scoping and capturing long distance photos. Also another feature of note is that a small knob on the main scope body allows you to easily swivel the eyepiece to the position of your choice as you are glassing.
I purchased this great scope for a mountain hunt out west that is no longer on the calendar. Hunting in my part of the country doesn't require this kind of equipment so it only makes sense to let it go to someone who could properly utilize it. In addition, I also purchased a handy and very stable collapsable Black Ovis Tripod which works great with it (as seen in the accompanying photos).
