Like everything I have purchased from the amazing folks at Gunwerks, this spotting scope is innovative and awesome! Unlike any of their competitors, they have included in the price of their standard package a 22power "quick change" fixed power eyepiece equipped with an excellent reticle for use while hunting. It enables the user to compute ranges If needed using either Mills or MOA. In addition when shooting long distances with a spotter, your partner can spot impacts and if necessary call adjustments and quickly "walk" you onto the target. The main eyepiece is a 27-55 power adjustable version which enables you to fully experience the crystal clear long distance views courtesy of the large 80 mm objective. The scope works easily in conjunction with digi-scoping photography attachments for amazing long-distance photos.
In addition (as seen in photos) I purchased a very handy (and stable) adjustable tri-pod and pan-head set-up and carrying case. It provides a light weight and collapsable companion for the scope wherever it is used. I purchased this fantastic set-up intending to use it for a mountain hunt out west that's no longer on the calendar and my hunting at home doesn't require such excellent long-range equipment. I'll probably regret letting it go but it makes sense to pass it along to someone who can utilize it for it's intended purpose.
