Mixed feelings.
I would have gladly left the food bag to the bear.

My wife showed me this a little while back.
I think it was on "The Weather Channel" website.
Amazing for the parents AND child to stay calm in that situation.

At the end of the day, they we very lucky.
If the bear was truly hungry, the outcome would have been much different.

This was probably a curious bear but not a real threat. He was definitely aware of the people. Lucky kid to see a bear in Italy.

I’m not familiar with European bears. I was expecting to see a small black bear of some sort. That looks like a griz and a decent sized one at that.
