@ leopards Valley Safaris. Thank you for posting the video. I enjoy short clips of Buffalo hunts.
I have a couple of questions, the shot looked to be well placed and the Buff appeared to be done but not recovered till next day!
Did you find it that afternoon? What calibre was the hunter using? Bullet design?

Hi @Neale
The shot was perfect but we got zero penetration. Client used a 270gr Hornady DG round in 375H&H. It unfortunately disintegrated on impact and only penetrated 4/5".
It never penetrated the chest cavity.
This led to a shootout the next morning . We put it down with a 375H&H loaded with a 380gr Rhino monolithic

Seemed to be a fine shot. Too bad the ammo didn't perform as advertised!
