Does anyone have experience with the Burris FourX 1.5-6x42/3p#4 reticle(illuminated dot)?

I think it was aimed at the European market. I found one on another forum and am considering it for my soon-to-arrive Enfield 1917 .358 Norma Magnum.

Another scope mentioned for that rifle was the Leupod Var-III 1.5-5x20. I have also thought about the Leupod Vari-X II 2-7x33.

Thanks

I have not used the Burris FourX but own two Burris Super Six and one Euro Diamond all have great clarity and light gathering with plex drop reticles. The Euro Diamond 2.5x10x44 sits on top of my Husqvarna 358 Norma Mag. Wonderful cartridge that I have used to take a moose in Quebec and a couple black bears at home in Ontario.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
