Yesterday the attorney general of California release all the information for the past ten years of everyone that has applied for and received a CCW? As well as gun purchases? This includes everything that was on the DOJ form which includes the gun safe info.
They are telling everyone to lock your credit with all three services.
They say judges and officers address are now being shared?

I smell a large Law Suit ensuing

Someone needs to be taken out back and given a swift kick in the a$$.

Had a discussion with a couple of lawyers about it. Can't really do much as one has to show damages in any lawsuit potential damages do not count. Now, publishing judge's, LEO addresses is against the law but people that would prosecute such crimes are the same ones that released the data.

How was the release justified? What precipitated the release? Just “public info?”

what about right to privacy? No?

They are claiming that it was a OOPS

I would think with the California data privacy laws that have been put in place over the past couple of years that this should be something they can get into some legal trouble for. Just wait for the first home invasion to occur where someone comes looking for some firearms to steal.

Release was for "public interest". Detailed release of everyone's name, address, DL #, guns, CCW id etc. was an "accident" according to CA DOJ.

Of course, it was done right after SCOTUS CCW decision, which leads me to believe it was vindictive and on purpose.

Interestingly, when people objected for this information being gathered and possibly be available response was "trust us, we can take care of the data".

Makes the point that one can't trust the Government with registration data etc., as people will make decisions based on their politics rather than what is right.

Most of these databases are probably administered by left-wing data-jocks. Nothing like this is an accident.

There is seriously something wrong w/ Cali State leadership & NO accountability for radical policy & continual dick ups …

Leftists in CA have a veto proof majority. They can pass any laws they want. The only thing stops them is the SCOTUS.

Heck, CA just passed a law to give food stamps to illegal immigrants. They also get free college tuition etc.. An illegal immigrant one gets more rights than a citizen in CA. Few years ago they passed a law to fine people who do not have health insurance and use those fines to provide health insurance for illegal immigrants (who are not fined).

Politics in CA boggles the mind most times.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
