Very nice - always hold my breath when opening a taxidermy photo - particularly a cat. Your guy did very good work. Also very much like the wall pedestal. Some people put so much crap on them it takes away from the animal - or makes him look like he is emerging from a terrarium. Nice minimalist approach that accentuates your cat.

Yeah I could probably get a few of them to believe that! They kind of look a lot like a miniature mountain lion.

Hi Charlie I took this guy in Namibia and it was a target of opportunity. I had already decided that I wanted one, but really wasn't the focus of this trip. Fortunately the quota had not been reached and the permit was in place. So really $hit house luck on my part..... it is definitely "take what Africa offers you" kind of scenario. When the PH asked me if I wanted to take one their was absolutely no hesitation on my part. I was told that just happening upon one like we did is not that common so I was very fortunate.

If you are looking to hunt one my recommendation would be in South Africa with dogs.....that was where my research and planning was focused. I'm sure their are folks on here that can provide you more information.
