Hi All

Iam Looking to purchase a decent case neck turning tool, if anyone can suggest a good one that they have used, please point me in the right direction.
I know RCBS has a all in one where you can deburr inside and out, total length trim, aswell as feed the cut along the neck length. No one seems to be able to get stock here in Natal. Cheers Shawn

Unless you're into BR, where the Nielson Pumpkin is probably the best, then the Forster Hot-100 or the Sinclair NT-4000 should be all you will need. Happy hunting.

Thanks Doc
Will google and check out!

I have been using the Forster Classic case trimmer with the optional neck turner accessory for years it works great. The only cases I worry about turning the necks on are my small calibers .257 and down it turns so so loads into tack drivers. I just last week bought a new one from MidwayUSA that way I can set one up for my favorite cal. and use the other on the rest.

Ok, have heard of them, will followup on there info.

I also like the Sinclair unit and have another use for the expander mandrel. For a couple of my rifles I have the Wilson straight line dies and have multiple neck bushes but for a wildcat 6.5 cartridge I have a FLS die that has been relieved to allow minimum sizing especially in the neck area and I use it without the expander stem installed. After sizing I run the case into the expander die for the Sinclair neck turning unit so that it is gently expanded on the down stroke. I believe that I get straighter necks that way and find the neck turning expander mandrel gives me good neck tension for the A Max's I shoot in this small cartridge.
