CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC: Fantastic Hunt With a Friend Of Mine

Eben is a very good friend of mine, we hunted Benin and CAR a few years ago. He is very fit, shoots straight and loves hunting this magic country. It's his 4th trip in CAR. He booked 3 weeks for Lord Derby Eland, Bongo, Leopard, Giant forest hog and of course everything nice we see. It was great and hard, lot of walking, driving, waiting, crawling, well hunting!!!! We did not spend much time in the camp. At the end he bagged some very good trophies and really for both of us it was the hunt of a lifetime.
1st Eland 52", Bongo 32", leopard skull 16", Giant forest hog 9 1/4". Enjoy the pictures.

James, I did not take the weight of the leopard but he was not very heavy because he was wounded by locals, we found some pellets in the back legs!!! I think 55kg but he should of been much heavier before, I think. He was quite clever, we moved the blind 3 times and finally we made a machan up to the tree 50 m away, far because I always set up the blind at 25/30m.
Bongos in that area are just big, I don't know why yet but I will find out as you know I am crazy about the orange ghost forest..... We shot 7 this year and all over 32 inch!!!!
And what about the giant forest hog, I never seen so many, they are just plentiful, not easy to get because they live in the bakos but if you look for one you get one, sure...

I will send 2 more reports, check the trophy quality, just great.
