Very nice rifle and great price!

Thanks Dave. I've owned a couple different calibers of them but this is the nicest I have found.

The 38/55 is such a nice round to shoot. Decent ballistics for an 1800's round, lower recoil and accurate. Some one will get a great rifle.

Nice rifle and set up.

I have a 38-55 in a Winchester commemorative lever gun.

When was this rifle produced?

It makes a difference as to whether the rifle is meant for black powder only, black powder and smokeless powder, or smokeless powder.

9.8 lbs scoped
