Well the mail man finally came through and delivered some long awaited goodies. First off is an FN commercial Mauser in 300 H&H. Also brought me a mcmillan for my Colt Coltsman barreled action that I rescued from a pawn shop in December.

And the .300 Holland & Holland magnum calibre is a true time honored classic plains game cartridge .

I found that one on gunbroker. A gentleman in Alaska was selling it.

I'd call that one lucky find. Let us know how it shoots. BTW that rifle looks pretty "clean" especially for one that came out of Alaska. I thought the order of the day for that part of the world is synthetic stocks and stainless barrels. You can quit patting yourself on the back just any time now.
