That's about right, I can't remember ever closing school over weather, hell, a bomb threat wouldn't have shut school down. I remember putting chains on the bus for the bus driver because the road out of the valley was so bad!
In Houston they shut school down if someone pisses on the road!

Some sort of comment regarding the warmth of sheep or something about Canadians like @BRICKBURN would have applied I think. :)

Agree with all of the above. Spent 2 years living in Montana, in 2010-11 .This Arizona boy was very happy to see the green grass of spring, after 6 months of winter hell.

Try living in an RV when it's minus 20 degrees. I won't do that again

Green grass in AZ? Not this time of year fellow desert dweller.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times, those sheep are liars! Lol

The green grass of the Montana spring, after 6 months of snow and ice.

Oh....my bad, deep in the why the hell did I move to AZ mode right now.....and the rim country is in desperate need of water.

This Monday, I had a young man who's first full day in Texas was also the first day of high school football two a day practices. He had just moved from Montana. He is still alive.:A Banana: If we can get him through September, he could be our secret weapon in a November run to the playoffs. :E Cold:

Poor bastard, I'm in my 15th summer in Arizona and I still dont buy this bullshit "Well at least it's never cold" from people donning parkas when it gets below 70.

If drinking booze was an Olympic sport, I think Montanan's would take home the gold medal.
Brent,
I resemble that remark! But, I came by it honest! It is the state past time!

So you want to live in Montana?

I moved to Arizona from Idaho, this is exactly the sort of thing we would tell those not from Idaho what it was like there. Very effective in keeping my fishing spots from being overcrowded.

A gal I went to High school with, posted that video to me when I was living up there. I thought it was pretty funny.

I love the list....! But, as a native South Florida resident of more years than I care to admit, I came up with a few more differences that you can add:

Folks in Montana will wave at you as you drive by.....
People in Florida will wave handguns at you when you drive by....

Folks in Montana will say hello to you on the street....
People in Florida don't say hello, but if they did, it would be hola or bonjou.....

You can breathe the air in Montana....
You can see and feel the air in Florida.....

Montana waters have rafts and inner-tubes filled with drunk college kids...
Florida waters have rafts and inner-tubes filled with Cubans and Haitians....

I like it! Bruce

Come on down to South Eastern AZ. There's definitely some green grass growing during monsoon season (now).
