Wow, what a fantastic read. I see his son is holding a Weatherby rifle as well. Seems like the Doc was a Weatherby fan.

As I’ve read this, and other “recent” articles you posted from the past(my childhood), it pains me to see how far we have come. What a time it was when you could pick up any periodical in a Doctor’s office, at another’s home, or off the magazine rack and find an article about hunting abroad, or some hunting related topic. Ebony, Life, Reader’s Digest, etc, etc. Now I bet they keep the hunting magazines behind the counter like they used to do Playboy. Pitiful!
