MG Hunting - ARGENTINA

Ducks

Our country is, without a doubt, a great choice for waterfowl hunting. In this program each hunter shoots between 200 and 250 rounds a day at over 12 different types of species of ducks such as White-faced Whistling-Duck, Silver Teal, Speckled Teal, Brown Pintail , Southern Wigeon, Red Shoveler (male), White-cheeked Pintail, Rosy-billed Pochard, Black-headed Duck , and 2 types of geese. Shooting begins at daybreak all the way up to 11 am. Then we return to the lodge where we have lunch and rest until about 4 pm when we get back to our shooting spots and go on until night falls.

We may be shooting by a lakeside on dry grounds, from boats or drums located in the water. Every spot will have decoys set up and every hunter will be assisted by a bird-boy whose job is to make sure the hunter’s needs are catered for. Bird-boys will have calls. To pick up downed ducks and geese we will be using retrieving dog such as Labs after the hunt is over. We will also provide hunters with boots, waders, capes, etc.

Do you have a minimum group size? My wife and I expect to be taking a trip to Argentina in 2018.
Can you hook a guy up with a water buffalo while I'm there?

If you can point me in the direction of how much the fee is and where to find it, would be greatly appreciated, because all the outfitters I’ve looked at say that birds cannot be exported out of Argentina. That’s why I haven’t hunted there. I know bird collectors that would be happy to hear this information and will send them in your direction and will hope to make it there soon if exportation is allowed.

Do you have a duck per day limit or shell limit? What is the average per day harvest?

Dear Bigguns,

The price is for 50 Ducks per day per hunter which is the average you can hunt per day also.

Best Regards,

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
