Good afternoon, hope all is well.

I am looking for a Eberlestock pack mounted shooting rest, I am in South-Africa and only way I see currently is to import one directly, are there any hunters outthere that has some alternative ideas to above?

Regards,

Okkie

Hi Okkie. I've imported quite a few Eberlestock goodies in the past, my latest, their RASR shooting rest and a Bandit Backpack arrived last week. The quality and functionality of their packs are outstanding.

Most shippers are hesitant to move anything with the word gun or shooting printed on the packaging due to stringent legislation but this is effectively just a bean bag, so shouldn't be a problem. I have often wondered whether or not the rest is truly that useful or just a cool fad gadget.

I like fad gadgets but I couldn't tell whether it would be more of a hindrance out in the field, than an actual help.

I'll let you know when I'm ordering again should you be interested.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
