We're heading across in 17 more sleeps - but who's counting?

The plan us for elephant, brown hyena and spotted hyena and a few other species should we have the opportunity. Should be a great hunt nd a good break from the daiy grind.

Was out smashing a few pigs last weekend and blowing up milk bottles with my .450 Ackley Magnum. All good to go!

Good luck Daggaboy. I too am heading into the "home stretch". Leaving Aug 17th for Mozambique. It's amazing that at 57, I still feel like a kid counting down the days until Christmas eve! Look forward to your hunt report!

Milk bottles, an interesting approximation for a facsimile target. Creative.
Good luck to both of you.

If you stop getting excited it is time to quit!

Wish you the best, Daggaboy !

Absorb every moment Daggaboy. Wish you the best.

Damn! Elephants, my dream hunt yet to be completed. Good luck.

IF YOU GO ONCE-YOU WILL GO AGAIN-DEAL WITH IT!

In lieu of any megafauna in the paddocks I roam, I hung milk bottles in trees with a great big mountain for a backstop. It was the only thing I could think to do to get myself shooting up at targets! No misses! All we have to do now is find an elephant hanging out if a baobab or a sausage tree and I should be right...

Guys,

Spent Saturday at the bench assembling ammo for the .450 Ackley and the .300 Weatherby. Had to pick up a few last minute items and with ten days to go, all the paperwork is done and all we need to do is pack!

Bluey you're about right - not much chance of sleeping tonight! I worked through last night just to get on top of a few things before I left thinking tht I'd sleep like a baby tonight - not the case!

We're off in 8 hours.......

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)
