We have a lot of Bull elephant in our concession at the moment. This is a great opportunity to take a bull elephant in the 30 to 40 lb. class. Should be a easy hunt. Nice camp. One permit only. No other game available on this hunt.

We are hunting leopard at the moment so replies may be slow.

What a deal Lon!

Man! Great deal

This is insane! Someone is going to get a hell of a hunt.

Wow. Wish I could jump at this opportunity.

Lon,

Looks like the bull in picture was shot in a maize field. Is this a night hunt, tracking, or whatever it takes?

this can be night or day depending on where the elephants are basically anything it takes to get an elephant

Exportable from Zim.

That doesn't mean it's importable to every destination .

From what I heard, you can now get it from Zim with the new case by case thing

You can also build a rocket and go to the moon, in theory. Now let's see you do it.

I will believe either when I see it.

All the best in getting this sold Lon.

And let me be really clear here too. I'm not criticizing this hunt due to current lack of U.S. importability at all.

This hunt is definitely a good deal. Anyone who is interested in an elephant hunt should consider it.

The ivory from my first elephant is still in Zimbabwe and I imagine that when I hunt a second elephant it will stay there too.

At this time both hunts are sold. One has been completed, due to the clients wishes we are not publishing results. His hunt his rules! The second hunt will take place very soon. Again we will let the hunter publish results and pictures if he wishes.

These elephants are exportable and are in great numbers. As everyone knows some countries do not allow the import of elephant/ivory. It appears the U.S. is handling this on a one on one basis. As a result we will do everything possible to furnish any and all legal documents and scientific proof that a successful hunter requests.

I would like to say this website like most are being, I guess the word is "trolled" by the "antis". We are not concerned about how they feel about our company, but we do care about the tactics that they may use to either stop a legal hunt or stop the import of any legally taken species.

Most of our hunts take place on CAMPFIRE land. The hunting laws are much different than on Govt. land and the community benefits in meat and money. On Government land I think we all know who benefits the most.

The last comment that I would like to make is if anyone has been successful with there U.S. importation permits please publish or PM us so that we can do everything possible to see that all trophies are legally exported and arrive at there RIGHTFULL destination. Just remember the "antis" will do anything, legal or not legal to see that your passion comes to a end.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
