Trying to get close to start so that I won't have to do a ton of filing later.
I have seen both. I like setting the bead in the bottom of the notch and that is how all of my sights are set up. I don't shoot iron sights past 75 yards so I haven't bothered with it too much but I set up my 6.5x55 with dakota express sights so that it is dead on at 25 yards and looks like this:When setting up express sights on a rifle, should the top of the front and top of the rear be the same height over the CL of the bore?
