Hello all, I’m posting this rifle I’ve acquired to see if there is any interest purchasing from me.

This rifle has never been taken hunting. It has only been used once at the range. It’s in immaculate condition and come with Kahles glass.

Thanks for catching that! I copied and pasted info a friend send me. New to this site and not knowledgeable on this rifle.

Dakota really knew how to build rifles.....that's a beauty and a very fair price..........FWB
 
It's built on a Dakota action, but I have very serious doubts it was built by Dakota Arms. The sloppy metalwork on the quarter rib and rear sight and the flats in the buttstock would have never got out the door. Who built this rifle?

Good catch. I can't see that getting out the door at Dakota either, even in their dark days. The metal work all around just doesn't have the Dakota look to it, and the caliber marking on the barrel isn't correct either. Unfortunate, it may still be a nice rifle.

I did some more digging. Being this rifle was passed down to me I didn’t have much info on it.

Start in Billings, Then visit little big horn battlefield,
MT grizzly encounter,
a hot springs (do you have good spots ?)
Looking to buy a 375 H&H or .416 Rem Mag if anyone has anything they want to let go of
