Hey guys,
I am putting my vintage Ruger M77RS chambered in 458 Winchester Magnum up for sale. The gun was made in 1979, I called Ruger and checked with them using the serial number of the rifle. The gun is in superb shape......the bluing is that old Ruger deep, deep glossy blu that looks almost like glass, and their is not a mark on it. The stock is also spotless and it sports some since figure for what was an "off the shelf" gun when it was purchased back in the day. I have used the gun very lightly, shooting it at the range only a handful of times and taking it hunting only a few times. I currently have a Leupold VX-3 1.5-5 mounted on the gun, using the original rings. The scope is Gloss to match the bluing of the rifle. I also have brass and dies that would come with the rifle. An RCBS 3 die set, 51 pieces of Norma Brass...NEW, and 20 pieces of A-Square Brass, the A-Square Brass is currently loaded with 500 grain Hornady InterLock bullets and a Max charge of Accurate 2460.........74.0 grains for a velocity of 2,192 fps. For the rifle, scope, dies, brass, and loaded rounds..............I am looking to get $1,500. If you are interested, but don't want or need the scope, brass, or loaded rounds, then we could of course talk. I would prefer to sell as a package if I can, someone would be getting a heck of a nice rifle.......as well as everything they needed to go with it.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I am only selling the rifle because I am trying to scrap together funds for a custom build I want to get started.............if I wasn't bitten by the bug so badly, I would hang onto this gem.........but alas, it's time for it to find a new home. Please PM me if you are interested.
I tried to attach a pic of the rifle there..........I hope it worked. It's not the greatest pic, but it will give you a good idea of what the rifle looks like, and just how perfect of shape it is indeed in. I can take more pics and send them per request of someone who is seriously interested.
