ARGENTINA: Future Of Caza y Safaris

The Caza y Safaris and Federico trophy impoundment debacle is having another effect.

My group of four was scheduled to hunt with them for this past March. We put our deposits down over a year ago. After being notified of this problem late last year, we asked for refunds. We have received absolutely no response or communication from anyone, so far. Frankly, we're fully expecting to get stiffed--but holding out hope that they get their act together and come through.

Anyone else having the same problem? Any advice on how to attack the problem is welcome.

It sounds like their debacle is still working its way through the Argentinian legal process....

But regardless, the expectation is that they should still be communicating. You should expect no less...

Agree completely. I’ve been reaching out privately since January with no response. Included every email address I have.

No acknowledgement and no response.

Making this public isn’t a trivial decision. We are a family and it deserves to be handled privately— until someone is disrespectful of us all. At this point it’s a warning to future prospective clients.

The only information I could add is I believe the were in jail for a while. Little hard to return emails from there. (I Hear) sorry to see a fellow hunter getting shafted, hope this turns out better than it looks.

Agreed and I’m hoping you’re right. Latest posts I’ve seen indicate Federico is out, but still no communication from anyone, even to acknowledge the request. I get that it might take time and am patient…
