Pictured is my Gecado 7x57. I find it interesting as I cant find another similar online or anything anywhere. I have owned it a few years now and believe it spent the last few decades in the Northern Territory of Australia. There is little info online other than that Gecado was part of G.C. Dornheim, Suhl Germany.
The scope is cloudy with age unfortunately so I am contemplating whether to have it refurbish or switch to modern mounts and a new scope. The set trigger would also have to go, definitely not a fan. Overall its quite a nice rifle and would be well suited for a plains game trip at some point.
