Well my friends it's official, we just went to contract on our house here, so we will be departing the big apple for the peach state August 23 rd. Saturday Trophy Transport is picking up my trophies ( agh the anxiety ). We will fly down in early August to buy furniture etc and have my trophies delivered then. Hope to be able to get together at some point in the near future to meet any members living in proximity to me.

All the best, buddy. Hope it all goes well for you guys..

Sure hope so..

Congratulations....I know you've been planning the move for a long time.

Awesome! Best of luck in your move! They are always stressful!
I guess from now on you’ll be flying Delta 200 out of Atlanta? Good luck with Delta!

Congrats, been a while in the making! Hope all goes as smoothly as possible. Maybe we cann meet up sometime in the future..

Wow Georgia in August huh:eek: Well almost anything sounds better than New York:D

Good luck Johnny. I was born and raised in the Augusta area but work has taken me far away over the last 38 years.

I’d really like that Charlie.

Thank you buddy.

What part of the state will you be in. I’m right in the middle and work has me in the Atlanta area all too often. Perhaps we can get together and share a few stories once you get settled in.

As someone already said you better brace yourself for August in Georgia. It tends to get a bit sticky down here.

LOL..Ya the heat shouldn't be a big problem.. NY gets pretty hot too... My house is in Acworth. Love to have you stop in once were settled. JB

Congratulations on finally moving into the new digs. The real question is how much more "Trophy Space" does it give you? Then the next question is when and with what are you going to fill it? One more thing, I'd like to see pics. of the your existing trophies once you have them in place.

Delivered from the heart of darkness! I have never minded visiting Yankees from time to time - hell I am married to one (though perhaps she has achieved redemption- she loves Texas as much as me), but I think you will find living among a civilized people a positive, life changing event.

Gives me a lot more room. Currently I have 54 trophies with 8 more coming from my last safari. We are going to have the trophies delivered in early August while we are there shopping for furniture etc. House just repainted so were good to go. And if I run out of space on the terrace level there's always the great room. MAYBE..... I lost that fight with Mrs. Blues to have the entire collection on the main floor:(

LOL ...Oh that's funny! Hopefully us "yanks" are well received. If not I am a pretty good shot! LMAO

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
