Well I have started getting in shape for Africa.
It has been incredibly mild here in NE Wisconsin, so Stretch and I have gotten out a couple of times to shoot. The first time you could really tell I hadn't shot in awhile. But tonight I did so much better. Plus, I have started walking at noon and lifting my weights every other night.
Stretch has been playing around with my arrow weight, so as I practice he sees how the changes he made affect my shot.
I know I have 2 years, but the better I can shape up and gain weight (in my bow) the better. Keeping up with my exercises and practicing will only help me get better. This will help when we go to S. Dakota this fall for mule deer and hunting WI for whitetails.

Good stuff Packsy, keep up the hard work. Every little bit helps and a positive attitude is that much better!

Among natures creatures two, the man and the woman, have taken all the sizes and all the shapes, in order not to be separated from nature. I like your shape Packsy.

Did some shooting tonight. My concentration is so much better now and I am getting back in the swing of things. Today I shot 6 arrows, 4 in the bull and 2 just outside.
Stretch is always such a big help to me and patient. :)

I started getting serious about getting in shape for my trip to SA a year ago and never stopped. It's become a daily routine now so that trip was a real blessing in more than one way and I've actually doubled my workout in the past four months. Bring on those kopjes, this year it will be bush buck year.
