I like the observer rate with the inclusion of a springbok for them. That is really nice.

Perhaps a photo or two of the accommodation to help lure a spouse.

Thank you Sir we have two camps that we hunt out of both are meticulously planned with attention to detail to suit the hunter's every need. Providing a large selection of species to Hunt.

As a local hunter, the green Kalahari is one of my favourite areas to hunt in SA.
The terrain, grass species and Camelthorn trees just make it a special place.
Never mind the sunsets!

I could have said it

I could not have said it any better Sir. Those sunsets makes for some of the best pictures you can think of.

Learn something new every day. I'd never come across the term "Green Kalahari", so I sought counsel from that know-it-all - Google.

Turns out that, yup, I've not hunted that region - yet.

@ Puddle

The Kalahari is a vast arid to semi-arid region, that stretches across parts of Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.
Locally, we break it up into the Green Kalahari and the Red Kalahari.

The terrain in the Red Kalahari mostly consists of red coloured sand dunes and grasses, with few trees.
The climate is harsh and typical of desert environments, with little to no rain and temperatures that can fluctuate between 30+ degrees Celsius during the day, to -5+ degrees Celcius at night.
It's an area where only the toughest game species and people live.
As local hunters, the most common game species that we're after in this area are Gemsbok and Springbok. Shooting distances are usually between 150 - 350m, so cartridges like .243, 6.5x55, .270, 7x64, .308, 30-06, 7mm RM and .300WM are very much at home in the Red Kalahari.

Due to higher rainfall, the terrain in the Green Kalahari is remarkably different.
Reddish soil, extensive grassland and a wide variety of tree species such as Camel and Sweet thorn.
Parts of the Green Kalahari are what spring to mind if I think of typical African savannah terrain.
Even though the region receives less rainfall than other parts of the country, it's incredibly diverse in plant and animal species.
We mostly target Eland, Kudu, Springbok, Red hartebeest, Black and Blue wildebeest and Gemsbok in the Green Kalahari.
Shooting distances are usually a lot closer than in the Red Kalahari, so all the above cartridges are common, using heavier bullet weights, with the addition of 9.3x62, 375H&H and the ever popular .303 Brit.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
