This is Jim and Elisabeth and we are pleased to be a part of this forum. Thanks to all of you who have supported us over the years. Many of our first time customers ask how our business was conceived... about a dozen years ago I went on a hunt in South Africa and used African Shooting Sticks for the first time. Based on that initial exposure, when I came back to the US, I tried to buy a pair. When I could not find a traditional wood set that met my requirements, I started building my own and our business began with that single product.

Today we offer hundreds of safari inspired products and stock everything we show on our website. We have the largest inventory of Courteney boots in the USA, one of the largest collections of antique African Spears and Shields in the country and still make every set of Shooting Sticks one at a time, at our shop in Ohio. More than 75% of our sales are generated from items available nowhere else and many of those are custom built to our specifications by a small group of artisans.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Good Hunting!

Jim and Elisabeth

Hello Jim and Elisabeth.

I like how your business started from something so simple. It is always nice to hear success stories.

A warm welcome to AH. It's a great site to promote your products.

Glad to have you here. A great group of folks here. Bruce

Welcome and enjoy.

Welcome to AH Jim & Elisabeth! Enjoy the site.

I love my Courteney boots, which I ordered through you all. They took longer than expected because they had to be made to fit me, my foot size being on the small size. You sent me a couple of pair of wonderful socks with my Courtney boots, and a personal note apologizing for the extended wait. Needless to say, I will continue to do business with you. :)

Howdy & welcome to AH!

Thank you BWH for the welcome. We're looking forward to being part of the site!

Thank you for the welcome - and we agree! The boots are incredible. We receive many compliments about Courteney Boots and are glad to be one the few distributors in the US.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
