Hello all,
Recently back into technology, finally after 11 years of little to no internet.
Great community here, some names I recognize from many moons ago.
I look forward to a lot of reading material and understanding what is going on and where, catching up with like-minded people.
Have a great week ahead.
Warm regards from Cahorra Bassa and Cabo Delgado.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to AH again.

Welcome!

Cahorra Bassa and Cabo Delgado, welcome to the forum and welcome back to the 21st century of internet communication! LOL! Enjoy!

Welcome to AH Moz!

Thanks folks, sure is good to be in touch with the outside world again.
Moz is good, we all trying to crawl out of Covid in the tourism industry, I guess like the rest of the world.
Up here in the North we have had a fantastic rain season, everything lush, thick and green - great for the wildlife and good for the season ahead too. Niassa Blocks will have a good year ahead.
Cahorra Bassa is reaching the high water mark daily, not far now to the max mark! - a month earlier than normal, promises good water conditions for the Tiger Fish and their food. I only hope that HCB don't dump water too soon this year.
Hippo are breeding well, the pod in my harbor have 3 new babies, not great for my front lawn and the wife's aloe's - she cant get mad when she see's the baby's prancing around their mother while she is out and feeding.
Magoe National Park has had a shift in Senior Management, we hope the new Head of the Park will be as pro-active as the last. New brooms and all.......
I should be back at home at the Lake in June and cannot wait to get into the concession, the rains and clay soil make it impossible during the wet season. I hope to see what has happened to the Buff herd and see how they are doing. Had a PAC hippo just after Christmas and I believe a local PH had a PAC Elephant around the same time - I am yet to meet the individual, they normally live in SA so out over the season only - traditionally.
Hope to be able to source our same Bloodline of Rhodesian Ridgeback and get breeding once again now that the borders to Zim have opened up. We lost our last dog to yet another Croc about 9 months ago and we need someone to take over the reigns at keeping the Baboons away from the Lodge.
Hunting around the Lake continues, not without its challenges, but at least the industry remains. Quota's are being filled which is great news!

Giday Moz. Welcome to the A H forums

Glad to have you here.
Bruce

Welcome to AH and the posting side!

Welcome to AH!

Glad you are back Moz. You sound like an interesting guy given your proximity to nature. Will you have access to the internet once you get to your camp?

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
