Hi as above is this even possible ? I’d love to do a bit of travelling there in the next couple of years and would love to hunt as well if possible.

I have been there quite a bit, but hunting never came up. It is, as I am sure you are aware, a tiny - highly populated country. A quick search of the internet didn't show many opportunities for an international sportsman.

This is all I could find, I was hoping someone on here might know of small local clubs or groups that don’t advertise on the internet.

A decade ago they were reducing hunting opportunities for locals and indeed created a target of 2000 hunters, total. In 2008 they had 6600 hunters and reduced it to 2300. Anyone not renewing their hunting license had it revoked.

Some research options for you.

Link to hunting regulations docs. (Since I can not read right to left, I am not certain if these will really be helpful)

Never hunted there but did spend some time in the Negev Desert and saw some very nice Ibex!

I was in Israel in Sep 2019 for a tour, not hunting, but hunting did come up. I was told by my guide that hunting is not allowed anywhere because a hunting rifle shot sounds just like a terrorist gun shot and the whole country goes on lockdown. But, yes, they have some very nice Ibex. Would love to get one.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
