Hello AH Members,
I am new to hunting Africa but not to hunting. I have my first trip booked for July 2015 for Namibia and the Caprivi Strip. I love my Blaser S2 (.470 NE, 9.3x74R & .30-06) and R8 (.500 Jeffrey, .375H&H and .300WM). I'll likely take my R8 for this safari.

I enjoy collecting and shooting big bore rifles. I just received my Martini Gunmakers designed HEYM Express Rifle in .404 Jeffrey and I am looking forward to giving this good run at the range. Here is the link to check out Ralf`s work:

Martini Gunmakers - Custom Craftsmanship

Also, currently pondering an acquisition of the Rigby double square bridge mauser in the "Big Game" model chambered in .416 Rigby, now that they are under the same umbrella as Blaser, Mauser and Sauer!

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
