Have read the site intermittently for 3–4 years. Born and raised in PA, spent a decade in Texas, now living in Colorado. Planning on my first Africa hunt within a couple years. Thanks for all the great information so far.

Darren

:S Welcome:

This is a great place to start planning

Hello WheelsUpDaren,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

When you get a spare minute, I invite you to have a look into the Khomas Safari website.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

This is actually avery bad forum. They help you spend your money under the guise that you'll have a fantastic time in Africa along with shooting the animals of your dreams.

But no, you will need to go back time after time chasing that dream. The members here haven't done you any favors.

I've only been over twice and people keep asking me if I'm going again, they are just a bunch of enablers on here.

Oh, by the way, welcome from Gypsum.

Welcome to AH Darren! Nice to have you join the conversation.

Hello and welcome!

Hi from Castle Rock. JimP isn’t lying. I was already scheming for my next trip before I even left Zambia on my last trip in June. Chit is addicting, and expensive. Probably should have just started doing cocaine instead. Would have been cheaper. .

Welcome WUD! You now have a wealth of knowledge at your disposal, so don't hesitate to use it. Good luck on planning you safari and please keep us apprised every step of the way.

Welcome to AH. Planning is half the fun! We would be happy to assist you in any way possible.

Welcome to AH and the posting side! Enjoy the site and have fun planning!

:S Welcome: to AH! From the flatlands east of the Front Range!

Just ignore those other Coloradoans, there aren't any enablers on this site. Btw, you have seen the Classified section, right? Do you have an appropriate double rifle yet? :A Shades:

Welcome to AH! Nice to have you as part of our community, really looking forward to your input.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
