My wife and I are planning a trip to south africa for mid may of 23. We are wanting to do about 14 days. Half hunting and the other sight seeing etc. Any thoughts for a trip like this?

Welcome aboard! Lots of information to comb though on this site to help you out. Plenty to do in 14 days in SA. I'd say go to at least one national park, annd possibly a private park as well. you could also vacation at one of the beaches, or do the wine tour down south.

Bigry, welcome to the AH forum! Lots of things to do and see in RSA besides hunting. The birth of mankind, Kruger and other national parks, museums, private game parks, markets, tanneries, and on and on. Quite a bit of difference in terrain between the coastal areas and say the Limpopo bushveld. Do your research on types of touring you enjoy.

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
