Welcome to AH Les! I understand your homesickness, it's hard to leave Africa when it's in your blood! Your African artwork is very extensive and you have many wonderful pieces, I very much like what you do. I wish you much success!

Join the club. As an ex-Namibian I lived for most of my life in southern Africa. It's hard to leave Africa. I like your artwork. Good job.

Thanks for the welcome guys, no matter what I do that smell of a hot African rain storm just stays with me, here it is too cold to even smell at the moment LOL

I was constantly engraving African wildlife for the 19 years of my business in Zimbabwe, including many trophy pictures. here in Suffolk I very rarely get that sort of commission, (now it is mainly bird shooting) so when I do I really "go to town" and when I have time I engrave some for my own satisfaction and sell them on eBay, usually to USA.:shades:

Lesley,

Your work is very nice.

Jim

Lesley,

Wow I love the Impala and Caracal engravings.

I know how you feel.

I worked for almost 2 years in Dubai.

Could not wait to get back to South Africa permanently.

Once you have smelled the African Bush after a Thunderstorm. See the sun sets...

You will always come back....

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
