First of all to obtain permission from mods to post.

Secondly, are there interest among fellow AH members looking for hard to find hunting books, afrikana, and reloading manuals.

I’ve sold a few (18) books over the last month and it got me thinking about the possibility that more people might be interested in a bigger variety.

Would you be interested in new or good as new books that are difficult to find in the States, at a fair price?

Some examples from my library (not for sale). Of course there are many many more available.

It most certainly interests me. Some titles are available on Kindle, but I personally enjoy reading an actual book. Let's see where this goes.

Yes, I would be interested. I have many of what you posted.

Thank you for the input. It’s quite late here, so I will try and sort out the list of available books out and post tomorrow.

Please feel free to guide me regarding prices here vs in the US. I would assume, that Capstick and Boddington are much more available over there, and perhaps affordable.

Some of the guys that self publish like Pierre vd Walt or Wayne Grant might be cheaper to find here.

Regards

I am still hoping and waiting you can find me "Into the thorns"

I am interested in some of Pierre Van Der Walt's books, but don't want to have to take out a bank loan to get them.

I would absolutely be interested especially in the books only published in South Africa or other parts of Africa.

Wow, that’s awesome that you have all these books! Are you a distributor? I have a lot of people from Africa wanting to get my book there so I am currently working on finding a distributor and printer there. I got my first bid back from the printer yesterday and have one offer from a distributor but I’m still trying to figure things out. I’d love to get Cries if the Savanna in gift shops etc if any way possible. It would be good for the non-hunting tourists to read it so that they understand hunting. Anyway, that is one of the projects I am currently working on.

Hopefully someday I will be able to read all of the books listed here! I’ve read some of them but am missing a bunch.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
