This is a unique an interesting hunt. We have several hunting packs in our area that the local ranchers use to kill these cats.

 
Beautiful cat.

I have done the same hunt in the Eastern Cape, although I think we were in thicker brush! Running through the brush is the closest I've come to replicating the jungle in Cameroon - the only advantage in the Eastern Cape is that it isn't humid!

The fun is definitely in the chase. Much like hunting cougar, once the cat is treed, it's more or less like shooting fish in a barrel. Which is to to suggest that people don't mess up the shot!
