Importing rifle stock from RSA

Hello all,

Looking for advice or actual experience getting a rifle stock shipped to US from RSA. I am wanting to have an olienhout stock shipped to me from RSA; will I run into any problems? Was going to have my buddy there ship me one but wasn’t sure what requirements or fees I’d run into.

I believe RSA has preferred trade status and lower import tax
at least compared to other countries
I learned that the hard way when importing Velie shoes and safari boots, sandals
from Namibia & Zimbabwe
I got hammered in duty’s in Comparison to buying goods from RSA
don’t know if that applies to rifle stocks.
