Hi,

I am fortunate to live in a Country that offers all kinds of activities on our doorstep. I am 50yrs old and have been hunting (rifle and shotgun) and fishing since an early age. I have predominantly always hunted for the pot, however, this year have decided to trophy hunt the "tiny ten", so far a good Steenbuck (5,5") and Duiker (5,2"). I also have a Buffalo hunt lined up in Zim at the end of October this year, my joining this forum is as a result of my research into that trip. I was not aware of the forum, look's like it's up my alley though. I belong to the aircooled vw forum as I have a passion for restoring old VW's (latest 1969 Baywindow Kombi...I'll post some pic's) That's it now !!

Welcome to AH Khabazela! Looking forward to your participation, glad you found us and good luck with your tiny ten pursuit...

Thanks Guys, our hunt in Zim is an "end of season" hunt arranged by a friend who owns Touch the Wild Safari's, price too good to mention !! Concession is in Zambezi Valley and Matetsi. Going to do a little Tiger fishing as well !

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
