A client of mine was fishing off the coast of the Northern Territory. There, very close on the bank, was a big bull buffalo.
Neil cast his line at the buff!
What could possibly go wrong????

The hook caught the buff on the side of the face. The buff shook his head trying to get rid of the hook and couldn't. Next thing, Neil had his line peeling off at a great deal of knots until the line was gone!

I suggested he start reeling the buff in. Lol

I have purposely fished for Salmon with an underweight fly rod to see if a big one could break the rod. No luck yet. I’m better with a rifle and bow.

Funny! I have a friend who fished Alaska for salmon. He had a nice one hooked when a bear stormed into the water grabbed the fish and took of running. Took the rod with him as my friend just dropped it and ran.
