Just finished this book. A worthy read for sure. The author hunted elephant in Mozambique from the mid 1930’s until commercial hunting was closed in 1953. In that time he accounted for over 1000 elephant. Several of which were over the magical 100 pound mark. His largest was a great specimen with both tusks weighing in at over 180 pounds. They are the 4th largest known set of tusks.
