The Kamchatka brown bear is 17 12/16" long by 10 14/16" wide. Total score of 28 10/16 " measured using the Boone and Crocket system by an official scorer (although not eligible for entry into that record book because Boone and Crockett is only for North American animals), I think SCI uses the same scoring system though... It was a huge old brawler, I don't know if the pictures showed his teeth the best but his canines are broken and its missing a few incisors. The bear also 2 fresh wounds and scars all over his body!
The black bear is about 11 1/4" long and about 6 1/2" wide. Total score: 17 3/4". It weighed around 250 pounds. Fairly average Ontario male black bear...
