Karl Kaps scopes

Was wondering if anyone had any opinion on the Karl Kaps line of scopes or has anyone have actually used these scopes?

I bought two of their more traditional scopes back in Feb 2021 and they still have yet to deliver them. They cite issues with getting parts from suppliers...anyone know if this is true or does Karl Kaps have other problems that are keeping them from shipping what I've paid for almost 18 months ago.

I can’t comment on their lack of supply but I have three Karl Kaps scopes and like them all. I’ve had them for 10-15 years. Seem ruggedly built, adjustments work properly, and image quality is very good. They compare well with Schmidt & Bender Klassic Hungarian models in my opinion. I hope you get delivery soon.

Have no idea about their situation.
But, what you can do, send an email to another supplier, and ask for delivery time of kapps scopes, or if they have them on stock. This will at least give you some idea.

BTW, at this time, German optical industry is facing problems, sales drops. Schott company (owned by Zeiss, producing Schott glass, arguably best scope glass in the world), goes to kurzarbait, or reduced working hours, and will probably release some of the workers, due to drop in sales.
