Kor Technick instead of custom foam for the 1700/1750

Has anyone tried this system? It's a bag of beads that are flexible until the bag holding them is vacuumed until semi rigid. One 1700 or 1750 theoretically can be reconfigured in a few minutes. They use a nice R8 as and example. I am likely to risk the $300 it looks so promising.
