This hunting is legally conducted in government owned and professionally managed hunting areas. This type of hunting protects the wildlife and promotes conservation. contrary to public misconception - in areas of Africa that allow hunting these animals are doing well and are actually protected against poaching. With the help of the local governments, wildlife department of Tanzania and the efforts of our anti poaching teams these animals are being protected and managed for future generations.

Thanks Nathan! Excellent info and nice to see a video with someone explaining it. Shoot straight!

Outstanding video thank you.
Do you use a rifle or shotgun when tracking a wounded Leopard?
If using a shotgun what load would you recommend?

Hi - I use my .470 double and hold tight.
its what I usually have and handle everyday, its what I am comfortable with. you will most likely only have time for one good shot and the hydrostatic shock of a rifle is helpful. I have seen leopard walk through buckshot. Your pattern with a shotgun is not a real advantage at 20 steps which is probably about where you will realize you see the leopard. The only way would be with plated 00 buck in a 3" mag with 5 shots from a semiauto...anything else in a shotgun is a disadvantage IMO. In a lot of areas a semi-auto shotgun isn't allowed with out extra paperwork so that adds another issue with a shotgun.

Thanks for the video. I also really enjoyed your one on elephant - very informative.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.
